About Me

I was born and raised in California where I spent much of my life. I received my BA in Communications from The University of the Pacific, Stockton and my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute, Encino.

Moving to Brevard County in 1998 from my lifelong hometown of Los Angeles, was a
very intentional decision based upon my desire to raise my then 3- and 4-year-old
daughters in an environment that valued family, community, connection, a respect for
nature, and a significant reduction in traffic! I believe that my happy and successful adult
children benefitted significantly from the strong ideals promoted within these beachside
communities.

In addition to my volunteer work at the Women’s Center and my Mel High coaching
position, I play tennis almost daily and for many years have participated in multiple local
Space Coast Tennis Leagues as well as USTA Leagues and tournaments. Tennis has
been my passion since childhood.

In 2020 my husband, John and I, moved to Melbourne Beach from Indialantic and are
thrilled to celebrate our home’s 100th anniversary this year! When we aren’t home
enjoying the peace and beauty of our little beach bungalow, or on the tennis courts, you
might find us scuba diving in Jupiter or Key West, as our love and respect for the ocean
is immeasurable.

Please keep an eye out for me on the roads, as I absolutely love to run through the
neighborhoods of Melbourne Beach almost every morning!

My husband and I are active members of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.
